Soil (topsoil and overburden) above the granite quarry in pit 2 (two) PT. Karya Sumber Alam Perkasa has experienced a landslide. It is probably caused by condition of slopes at Perkasa, which currently being mined, quite steep. External factors that can trigger movement rock masses are vibrations due to breakers. This potential increase risk slope stability. Slope stability influenced geological conditions, joints, geometry, water conditions below soil surface, physical mechanical properties, blasting equipment. Therefore, it necessary conduct technical study The research aims mass class, type landslide, uses Mass Rating (SMR) method. Data processing using software Rocscience Dips 7.016. Analysis types landslides based on stereographic projections. result RMR calculation 78, so class number II, included excellent category. results analysis for failure indicates t tends lead toppling failure, but after study, there no because does not meet landslide requirements. safe or stable SMR value 78 safety factor 2,458.
